i SO need this product. I HATE my "fancy" front loader - it needs to smell better.
i thought i was alone in smelly washer problem, so glad there is a solution!
We bought a front loader six years ago, I got 5 yrs out of it. We bought a new washer a year ago its a glass top loader and so far I LOVE it.
Glad you fixed your stinky problem....
Kathy :)
My DIL has this problem with their new front load. She was told by the repairman to leave the door open. Now that is real safe with a toddler!!! I would love to win this for her!
I hate that smelly washer smell. It's gross. I'm so happy to hear that there is a product to help. Now I have to see how much it costs. Hope I win a bottle so I won't have to find out.
Our washer is 17 years old and washes well, but nothing I used could take the stinky out of the towels.
I recently started using straight bleach and although the stinky is not there, it's replaced by the bleach smell and the towels are all faded.
Would be willing to try anything.
:)
I recently have had the same problem!! My top loader is about 4 months old and I thought it was all the pool towels I was washing plus the humidity! Thanks for this info!
I had the towel odor but I didn't know why!! Maybe this will help!
Oh YES! I definitely have a smelly front load washer. I have been noticing it even more as summer progresses. I've tried all the things you said you tried but have not heard of this product in your giveaway!
Yes, please enter me in the drawing! It's nice to know there just may be a solution!
No problems with the washing machine...any suggestions for a smelly dishwasher?
I also had a smelly washer. I recently discovered that Tide has a washing machine cleaner. It works great. Smell good too. Linda
I'd love to try this! Finally someone came with a solution for this smelly situation.
Oh.My.Word! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this info! I need it badly! Please! Pretty please!
I have the new top of the line front loader and I love the machine, but hate having to leave the door open (and the drawer where the detergents, etc. goes).
I need HELP!
Hugs!
Kat
My washer is starting to be smelly too! I wish I had not bought a top loader but will be stuck with it because of the expense. Would love to try smelly washer!
OMG, I thought mine was the ONLY one, often times I am propping the door open with some sort of bottle or whatever is near by, just to keep that mildew smell away... YUCK, and I can't even tell you how MANY towels I have THROWN away, yes that's right I THROW my stinky towels away!! I MUST win this... and I am so VERY glad you posted about it! Thanks
OH MY GOSH!!! Debra, I do hope I win this!!!! I didn't know that other people had the smelly washer problem!!!! I run a load of just bleach once a week, because of the smell and it really doesn't help!!! I didn't even know about leaving the door open. Thanks so much for this info!!!!!!!!
Nancy
My washer doesn't smell but I have to say that some of my washcloths are stinky when I wet them to use and I think whoa! did I let this sour or should I buy more expensive detergent?? Don't know if stinky washer would help this problem???
My towels and clothes don't stink but if I close the lid on my top loader it's really nasty smelling! Who wants to keep the lid up all the time? Glad there is a solution to a stinky problem. Thanks for thinking of us.
Wow - they have products for everything. I have a top load machine and leave it open just a little bit to air out after I use it. Plus, I use vinegar in both my washing machine and in my dishwasher whenever I use them. Vinegar eliminates most of my problems. I didn't know there was a product for it. :>)
Ok, I was just about to buy a newer washer. I have been saving money and I looked at my blog and found your site! OMG!!!! I can't believe that I almost bought a new washer machine!
Thanks Miss Girlie!!

How DID 'someone' know your washer was stinky??
How did 'someone' know to email you about that?
I don't get it.
Must be magic.
I think everyone with a front loader has the smelly problem. I know I do! I've tried everything to stop that smell except for this new product you have found. I sure need to try it!
Oh my, I soooo need this...we have well water which makes it smell even more!
Hugz,
Michele
I have the same problem with smelly towels! I'd love to give the product a try and see if it solves the problem.
Yes. smelly towels is not cool!
I would love to try this product.
Very thoughtful of you to share!
Who would have thunk? I've never heard of such. lol Glad you found a product that fixes that problem, though! After reading all these comments, I'm shocked at how prevalent this is. I have an old-fashioned toploader, maybe that's why I haven't experienced it. My daughter just bought a front loader, though. Wonder if she'll have stinky towels, too. I'll have to tell her about this product, just in case. :)
Thanks for pointing it out!
My name is Andrea and I have a smelly washer....I thought I was the only one......I am so glad you found this and shared it! Thank you!
So far I haven't had any issues with my front loader but it is new. I would still love to win just in case.
I've never had that problem but have heard and read about it. I'm glad you found something that works.
And to think we all thought we were alone in this problem! So HOW did you get this in an e-mail? Was this sent by a friend or was it spam? Please enter me so I can stop using vinegar! LOL :-) Sue
Yes, I totally need this product. Thanks!
We get smelly washer syndrome every now and then too!
Now when I go home I'm going to smell my washer and towels!
I have totally noticed that in my washer. It smells mildewy. Drives me nuts. Maybe i should try this. Maybe i will win one. mishelle
I try vinegar, and doing an empty run with just bleach, and leaving the door open and... well, that's all I've tried. Reduces the level, but I can't seem to vanquish the smell! I'd love to try this stuf!
Wow! There are alot of us with stinky washers and smelly towels. My washclothes have just started to smell. I am going to try the vinegar suggestion by one of your commenters. Also, for the commenter that asked about a smelly dishwasher....my old dishwasher had a filter in it that was on the top of the door. I didn't know it until one day we opened it up and it was full of stuff that should have gone in the disposal. The filter was washable and I began to clean it regularly and got rid of the bad odor and my dishes were much cleaner too! I have a new dishwasher in my new house and can't find the filter in this one yet....good luck.
My front loader suffers from "the smell" also. I could really use this product!
I had no CLUE this was a common problem. I thought it had something to do with the water!
I love it when someone invents something useful.
Oh Debra, I have a 2 year old Amana and am so fed up with the smell, mine is a top loader! I would love to win cause right now I am on a seriously tight budget!!! I have heard wonderful results about it too! Lori
Yes! I have a smelly washer too!
I have a top loader! I bought and did not think could be the machine! Smelly! I just told hubby last night, can it be the pipes? He says no! I can not believe it! I am not the only one! lol I love to try a bottle!! How wonderful it would be! I tried washing the kitchen hand towels from the bath towels. Hubby fusses too small load. I thought maybe it was from the kitchen towels, for he comes in after working outside! I can not stand to dry off with a towel and then smell like it! Please! Please! Put my name in! I do not want to stink! lol
Thanks for the heads up, Dera...as you know we just moved and we have a new front loading washer. I had heard that sometimes if the doors are left closed, you will get that stinky smell, so I was advised to leave the door open after completing a wash. The other day, I like you stepped out of the shower to wrap myself in a new soft towel I had just purchased and washed...it had a sour smell to it, too...SO I was quite disappointed to think it came from my washer. I did however discover I had been putting the soap in the wrong dispenser...so maybe that was the culprit...who knows. I would love to win a bottle of that product...if not...I'm still going to purchase some...Thanks again.
BTW...check out my blog...I have BIG, BIG news that I have just announced...I thought you would be very interested in checking it out!
Blessings...
Teresa
Fascinating post! I have a front loader too --- do they ever get really dry? I turn the drum someimes and can always hear water sloshing!
Anyhow, thanks for stopping by and leaving the nice comment! I appreciate it very much.
Bill
I have that smelly problem too. It is worse in the summer. I'm glad that you found something that works.
