~ I must have hit 100 yard sales! ~

Yardsales were everywhere today. My hubby is away this weekend and the last thing he said was not to buy too much junk. Well, it's not junk to me. LOL You never know what you'll find.

It was crazy, people and cars were all over. Here are my treasures.
Wall pocket, blue and white, beautiful ironstone teapot, little nest, wire baskets. All for $9.00.

Sewing box with lots of thread on wooden spools. $2.00
Whole box of vintage notions and hooks, snaps ....25 cents
Vintage hankies were $1.00 for the whole lot. They aren't all shown here but I got about 30. Some of them are hand embroidered. The blue doily and hankies I'll give to a friend who loves blue. There was lots of old doilies and notions out there today and I was in the mood to buy! I'll make something with this necklace for my best friend Roxanne. Maybe a card or a collage or just a basket full of stuff. You can see the corner of a big bag of spanish moss I got for .25 cents and more vintage hankies. Patriotic bird house was free, I'll use it on the patio on Memorial day and 4th of July, vintage hankie and trim , fleur tacs, and finials All for about $2.50. Cute little lamp was $2.00.
Captain Underpants books for the gkids, candle holder, cupcake thingy, little topiary I couldn't resist. All for about $5.00

The big urns were $5 each, new shoes $3, bee skep, topiary form, garden thing, bulletin boards, little painting, the lamp was free.....I'll give it to a friend who just loves that style. The second free thing today. YEP.....that's a hula hoop...I've been wanting one! I was good at hula hooping as I child and I want to learn it again...... besides, I had a premonition about a blue hula hoop so I had to get it.

I got some inspirational books to give as gifts and I even got 5 tubes of toothpaste, only 1$ each.
What a crazy and fun day.

I'm trying to get a template for my blog that I like. I was tired of the pink in Ms Motto template. I finally figured out how to put a picture in the header, just didn't do it yet. I got a 3 column template too, need to keep working on that.
I'm so glad you stopped by! Have a beautiful day!

Wow, Debra! You scored...good thing I wasn't there with you, we'd be fightin' over some of that, LOL. I love those big urns & the leopard boards, garden things, topiary...all of it! I love finding neat stuff & I sometimes buy new toiletry items too, amazing what you can find out there. I got 2 new bottles of nail polish this weekend for $1 each (Mary Kay & OPI). You just can't beat yardsale bargains!

First time to your adorable blog. What great finds! If you ever want to part with your blue plates let me know. I love that particular pattern but very rarely find it which may be because at my age I already have a house full of treasures so don't go out looking much any more.
